1. Q. What is the difference between Booby Trap Magnets versus any other type of magnets that can be purchased online or at a local retailer?

A. We use one of the strongest rare earth magnets available. Booby Trap Magnets are strategically designed to generate a powerful magnetic force on the internal sides that magnetically hold the pads together, while the external sides have reduced magnetism. This design helps prevent the magnets from sticking to the inside of your washing machine, dryer, or other Booby Trap Magnets during the cycle. The inner structure is coated in a high-quality waterproof silicone material so the interior parts are protected against water and heat and will never rust. The polyester fabric cover is padded with a soft poly-fill to ensure your magnets do not make loud noises while in use.

2. Q. How many washes can you get out of the Booby Trap Magnets? 

A. We use the highest quality of materials so you can use your magnets for an unlimited amount of washes if used properly and according to product instructions.

3. Q. Will the magnet stick to the inside walls of my washer or dryer? 

A. The exterior sides of the magnets are designed to have minimal magnetic force to avoid attraction to the interior of your machine and/or other magnets in the same load of wash. If it does stick to it, the force is very light.

4. Q: Are these waterproof & heat resistant? 

A: Yes, they are waterproof and heat resistant. The magnets are coated in a waterproof silicone and the magnets can get withstand up to 175 degrees Fahrenheit of heat before affecting the performance.

A: We ship all of our products from Orlando, Florida in the USA.

7. Q:  How long does shipping take? 

A: If items are in stock and not a PRE-SALE, all orders are processed and shipped out within 2 - 3 business days plus the actual delivery time which ranges from 1 - 5 days depending on your location. Rush shipping options are available at checkout.

8. Q: Do I need to clean my magnets?

A: Your washing machine should be doing the trick, but if you want to wash them separately, hand wash with detergent or soap and water.

9. Q: After the machine wash cycle, I see an indentation mark on my top where the magnet was. How do I remove that?

A: If your top is made of a thin delicate fabric and contains a thin removable pad, due to the strong magnetic force, you may see a small indentation mark on your top after you remove the magnets. If this happens, do not worry, it is only temporary. Simply use the included spray bottle to apply 4-5 sprays of water (or as much as needed) to the area while the item is still wet. Gently rub the fabric together or with your fingers until the mark disappears. Once dry, the mark should completely disappear. If not, repeat this step. 

10. Q: The magnets put a discoloration circular mark on my top where the magnet was. Is my top ruined?

A:  No, definitely not. Certain fabrics or colors will likely show a small, temporary discoloration mark after being machine dried. To remove it, use the included spray bottle to apply 5 - 10 sprays of water (or as much as needed) and gently rub the fabric together or with your fingers until the mark disappears. 

11. Q: Are Booby Trap Magnets safe for the dryer? 

A: We recommend machine washing and air drying. However, our magnets are safe for all machine dryers and can withstand temperatures up to 175°F.  If you choose to machine dry, certain fabrics or colors will likely show a small, temporary discoloration mark. To remove it, use the included spray bottle to apply 5 - 10 sprays of water (or as much as needed) and gently rub the fabric together or with your fingers until the mark disappears.
